My Story

My interest in workplace learning derives from the satisfaction in helping people learn better at the workplace and empower them to translate that learning in their job roles for improved engagement and performance. I often ask "How can we equip each employee with the requisite knowledge and skills?" and "How do we measure their progress and mastery?" One of the recent projects which I have successfully completed is to help property officers in a property management SME learn better at the workplace through formalising their workplace learning strategy. I look forward to working with SMEs in helping their staff to grow so as to make a positive impact on their business performance.

As an L&D practitioner & Adult Educator in the last 23 years, I have experience in courseware development, setting up Certified On-the-Job Training Centres (COJTC) and Approved Training Centre (ATC) (for Certificate in Logistics Operations programme), courseware development (both classroom and workplace specific) and facilitating training both in classrooms and at the workplace.

My qualifications include a Master of Business in Logistics Management (MBLM) degree from RMIT University (Australia), a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (Bsc BM) degree from the University of Bradford (U.K.), a Diploma in Computer Studies from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE), Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) and Certificate of Workplace Learning Specialist (CWLS). I am also a Specialist Adult Educator (SAE) under the Adult Educator Professionalisation programme managed by the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL).
